Latinas with Masters® was organically rooted in the need for a counter-space where our testimonios serve as academic scholarship for our collective liberation. What began as a personal digital sanctuary to (re)member my Master’s degree journey and share my Doctora journey authentically became a revolutionary movement. I coined the term NICAdemic™ to prove that our existence in these institutions is a scholarly act of resistance.
Today, The Heart Work has evolved into a Media Agency and Digital Sanctuary™ serving a multi-platform community of 65,000+ scholars. Utilizing the NICA Feminista™ framework, Dra. Christina V. Rodriguez provides #DigitalReceipts™ and leadership pathways for Latinas to move beyond surviving institutions to actively reshaping them.
The Rising is the collective impact. From keynote addresses to campus workshops, she bridges the gap between lived experience and institutional transformation. Together, we are planting Las Semillas, the seeds of a future where every Latina scholar is reflected, supported and celebrated.
